Getting to Valletta Terminal

You can get a Gozo Fast Ferry from Lascaris Wharf Terminal in the Grand Harbour in Valletta- Malta,
and from Mgarr Harbour Terminal in Gozo.

On foot via the Barrakka Lift

Walk to the Upper Barrakka Gardens near Castille Place. You can get the Lift down to Lascaris Wharf, cross the street and follow the signs to the terminal. The Barrakka Lift is free if you will be travelling to Gozo and when paying with a Personalised Tallinja Card (bearing the name and photo of the holder) issued by Malta Public Transport.

By Bike

You can use your own bike to get to Lascaris What Terminal. You can even bring your bike with you on board our ferries. Furthermore, you can also rent an electric Tallinja Bike operated by Malta Public Transport. You can drop off your bike or pick up a bike from the station in tunnel leading to the Barrakka Lift. There are a number of other bike stations in Valletta too.

By Bus

You can reach Lascaris Wharf Terminal by bus operated by Malta Public Transport. Get Route X133 from the Valletta Terminus and stop on Bus Stop called Lascaris. Furthermore, Malta Public Transport offers a shuttle bus service to Junior College in Msida, the University of Malta in Tal-Qroqq, and Mater Dei Hospital.

By Boat

Valletta Ferry Services operates a half-hourly service between the Three Cities and Valletta. This ferry docks at Lascaris Wharf Terminal too making it very easy to travel between the Three Cities and Gozo. Furthermore, Valletta Ferry Services operates another ferry service from the north side of Valletta in Marsamxett Harbour to Sliema. A short bus ride operated by Malta Public Transport will transport you from Lascaris Wharf Terminal to the ferry landing place in Marsamxett.

By Car

There are many options to get to the Lascaris Wharf Terminal by car. You may park in the street. Note, however, that street parking is limited. You may also park in one of the car parks in the vicinity.
