Fares & Tickets

You may buy your ticket using a variety of payment methods including Cash, Bank Cards and the Personalised Tallinja Cards issued by Malta Public Transport. You may also buy your ticket online from the Gozo Fast Ferry smartphone app, from this website and from a number of Ticket Sellers at each of the ferry terminals.

Fares when paying with a Tallinja Card

Standard Rates

Infants up to 4 years – Free

Infants who haven’t yet turned 4 may travel for free. Infants must be seated on the ferry and you must therefore book their seat too.

Tallinja Child Card – €3.99

The fare for children between 4 and 10 years (both included) is €3.99 when paying with a Tallinja Child Card (Yellow).

Tallinja Student Card – €7.99

The fare for anybody aged between 11 and 16 (both included) and anyone else who is attending a full time course with a recognised educational institution for at least three months is of €7.99 when paying with a Tallinja Student Card (Red).

Tallinja Adult Card – €7.99

The fare for anybody 17 and older is of €7.99 when paying with a Tallinja Adult Card (Green).

Senior Citizens and Mobility Impaired – €3.99

The fare for Kartanzjan / Maltese 60+ Identity Card holders and for holders of a Disability Card is of €3.99. Customers can pay with their credit card online or in cash or card at the Ticket Booth in the terminals. Customers can also pay with their Tallinja Concession Card. Gozo Residents – €4.50

The fare for Gozitan residents is of €4.50. Gozitan residents can either pay with their Tallinja Gozo Card (Purple) or present their Identity Card when buying a ticket in cash or bank card from a Ticket Seller. The Identity Card must show residency in Gozo. We recommend that Gozo residents obtain their Tallinja Gozo Card for a faster boarding of our ferries.

Supplements

Supplement for Ferry from Valletta – Three Cities and Valletta – Sliema

When booking your Gozo Fast Ferry ticket, you can add another ferry trip to the Three Cities or to Sliema with Valletta Ferry Services. Standard fares, and terms and conditions apply.

Book online and from the app

If you don’t have a Tallinja Card, you can still benefit from reduced fares when booking from this website or from the free Gozo Fast Ferry smartphone app available from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

The fare for an adult when booking online or from the app is of €9.99 and that for a child is of €5.99 (between 4 and 10 years).

Finally, you can buy a ticket at the terminals before boarding the ferry. The fare for the last minute ticket is of €12 for an adult and €6 for a child (between 4 and 10 years).
